I have learned to be PRACTICAL & a Giveaway!

As a EXPERIENCED Momma of almost 2 years,
I have learned to be practical.
Sure there are many things that are required in running a successful home with little ones,
BUT
There are also, MANY unnecessary things.
You know,
those things that EVERYONE told you to buy or else you'd be a failure Mom?
Well guess what?
I have MANY things still in their original boxes in storage.
NEVER BEEN USED!

Can you believe I actually crossed off every last baby item on the Babies R Us itemized registry list?
I would not let my baby be born until every single thing was purchased and in place.
Yes, I am a little obsessive!

I believe in helping a girl out!
So for all you Momma's to be,
Future Momma's,
Momma's,
here is MY top 5 items
"you think you need, but you really don't"
{in the 1st year of Mommy hood}

Don't need:
1. Bottle Sterilizer.
The dishwasher works just fine. Or hot water. No new momma has time for this anyways.

2. Bumble Ride Queen B Stroller
I HAD to have this darn stroller and it was the worst purchase I've made to date. Far to bulky, heavy,  and very hard to maneuver. Buy a stroller based on convenience not looks. Oh and check reviews!!

3. Shoes before they are walking.
huge waste of money. They grow out of them as soon as you get them home from the store. OR they fall off and get lost.
{Landyn lost her baby uggs two days after purchase}

4. Bottle Warmer
Landyn was happy with cold milk and I was happy to save another step.
5. Walker
Landyn never touched her's. She figured out the walking thing all by herself.

Need:
1. The Glider
My lifesaver. I still use mine to this day. It makes those late nights a little bit more manageable.

2. My Little Lamb Swing by Fisher Price
I am not kidding when I say Landyn LIVED in this thing for the first 4 months. There are a bunch of different positions so you can change it up and they feel like they've changed scenery.

3. Boppy
Perfect for nursing, tummy time, and supports your infant when they begin sitting up! Oh and its a CUTE photo prop. I had a bright pink floral one.

4. Snap and Go Stroller
Oh how I loved this little invention. It made me so happy to take my sleeping baby everywhere without disturbing her. LIFE SAVER!

5. The Bumbo
Take it to the beach, put it on the kitchen counter, outside, etc. PERFECT way to free up a hand and keep them aware of their surroundings.
..........
In the spirit of the practical THINGS...
I had the pleasure of working with a baby accessory shop,

Sharing my belief for practicality,
Gumbo Baby
offers the cutest line of car seat covers,
bibs,
high chair covers (another lifesaver)
Bumbo covers.

  31. I have the Bumbleride Flyer. Worst stroller! But I can't admit to my hubs how much I hate it ... instead I have left it at my parents house (2 hours away) for when we visit. I survive with the jogger and another smaller stroller much like the snap 'n go you've pictured. Stupid Bumbleride.
