What the BEACH means to ME

Crisp air,

cool breeze,

sand between my toes,

waves crashing,

tangled flat hair,

sun kissed tans,

flip flops,

brimmed hats,

and BIG sunglasses.

I grew up at the beach. 

It's what I know.

My heart aches for it when its been too long.

It's where I celebrated many birthdays,

and family camping trips.

EVERY Summer Vacation was spent here,

LOTS of laughs with girl friends,

and "late night" drives.

THAT PERFECT DATE...

It's where I first fell in LOVE,

and where the man of my dreams proposed.

It's where my dream home will one day reside,

And my favorite PARADISE stands.

Time doesn't exist,

and cares are turned away,

 at the beach.

These days, 

I create NEW memories of the BEACH, 

Although COMPLETELY different with LOTS of work involved, 

they are memories indeed.

Memories of the BEACH, my little girl won't forget, 

and THAT makes it ALL worth it. 

And these memories will only get better with time!
