I am going to give you a step by step tutorial on how to make your VERY OWN
Beaded Headband!!
Materials:
hot glue gun
felt
pearls
ribbon lined headband
waxed linen string for threading
FIRST
I knotted my thread into a triple knot and began threading pearls. I made my strand about 10 inches long.
Once ALL your pearls are strung, secure the end with another double knot. You will then place a circle of hot glue onto your felt. You will begin wrapping your pearls into a bulls eye shape, making sure all pearls are glued down onto the felt well.
Once dry, you will cut your circles out along the edge of your pearls
You will then glue each individual circle onto your headband. I started my first circle 3 inches up on the left side. I then placed each circle side by side going upward.
You can finish off by gluing a piece of felt along the back to hide any glue
Project Complete.
I've done this with glass beads and a rhinestone in the middle! The possibilities are endless.
