A winter's day in the mommy hood

It's been raining here non stop and something about the winter's chill has me feeling thankful. I am about to spend my 2nd Christmas as a momma and it feels so good. I have a sweet girl that loves to give her momma and dada hugs and kisses, and let me tell you, there is nothing better in the world.

Landyn and I spent the good majority of yesterday indoors trying to find as many activities as possible to entertain a very busy 16 month old. We tackled her closet and parted with the clothes she's out grown.
YES the 3-6 month old dress i've been holding onto is TOO SMALL!
I had a mommy moment, yes, one of those...
How and when did she get so big?

Oh and on a side note, have you tried THESE Trader Joe's gingerbread men cookies? The best little treats I ever did have!

  1. Staying in with a toddler all day is hard! At least you were productive :) I get so sad everytime I have to pack up clothes that are too small, they grow way too fast!!

  11. I do the same thing with Penny, my 8 mos old. I have clothes with the tags on because I kept "waiting" for that special occassion. I learned my lesson. Every day is an occassion to look glamorous! Also, have you tried the TJs cocolate covered pepermint joes? They are addictive. XOXO

  12. Love your rainy day photo. It's so beautiful in Southern Cal. I miss it a lot! I also miss double double cheeseburgers from In-N-Out!! LOL!! I just went back into little MIlton's newborn boxes to fish out any appropriate girl clothes for GInger and almost started crying because I swear it was just yesterday......I guess I shouldn't be too upset since I'll have another one in a month but geez they get big so fast.
