It is October 1. It has officially been fall for just over a week and you would never guess it here in southern California. We hit record temps on Monday, 113 degrees in down town LA. That is an ALL TIME HIGH for downtown. Even the beaches are in the 90s. WOW.
To us, it is still summer.
Since it is pretty much too hot to do ANYTHING, Landyn and I have been indoors in our air conditioning or playing with her new water/sand table.
I wish I could join you all and pull out all my fall decor. I can't wait to start, but it's just way to hot to get in the spirit.
Do you have any weekend plans?

ReplyDeleteI want to trade places with you. I wanted more warmer weather, and it's supposed to get into the 30's over night this weekend and be in the 60's during the day Our first frost is supp to happen next week!

It's stinly for me bc all week this week it has been in the 70's and beautiful, and I have had to work all week, and this weekend it's suppposed to be so cold. Crappy stinky pants. Ugh, I can;t win.

ReplyDeleteI love warm weather but I do crave the change of seasons. One benefit of being in the midwest is the colorful fall. I will be jealous of you come january though! ha ha! :D
It's cooling down here. Today was in the 70's. I didn't realize it even got over 90 in LA. Hope your having a great weekend!

oh lindsay, we had the heat too! all the way up here, in our little foggy beach town. we're so not used to it that NO ONE has a/c!
